Virat Kohli frustrated by lack of awareness, Mayank Agarwal admits boundaries

indian captain Virat Kohli He was frustrated and shocked as Mayank Agarwal’s lack of awareness in the field led to India’s four runs. Kohli is known for keeping his heart on his sleeve, and he doesn’t fail to express his emotions, whether it’s to opponents or his own teammates.

He stood like a rock as India tried to get rid of South Africa’s Keegan Peterson. He bowled a stunning back foot from Jasprit Bumrah and Mayank Agarwal chased the ball after being offside. After completing all the hard codes, Agarwal slid near the boundary and made a successful stop, but ultimately failed to get the job done.

Despite putting the slide, the opener delayed releasing the ball and he ended up touching the rope with the ball in his hand. This resulted in India captain Virat Kohli with his hands in the air and a look of despair and disappointment. Kohli has set high standards not only for himself but for the entire Indian team.

But Agarwal’s effort left the captain showing emotion after being disappointed. Kohli’s reaction led Sunil Gavaskar to also share his disappointment with Mayank Agarwal’s defensive efforts at the boundary. Gavaskar noted that Agarwal had plenty of time to bounce it back into the bounding ropes, but that didn’t happen.

“He could have gotten rid of it so easily, no wonder the captain wasn’t too happy.” Gavaska said in the air.
