While Saturday’s game is crucial to their side’s Champions League hopes, many of Barcelona’s persuaders have undoubtedly set their sights on midweek outside Granada.

This comes as the Catalan giants prepare to stage the latest version of El Clasico in their Spanish Super Cup semi-final showdown with Real Madrid.

And, apparently, boss Xavi also has a firm eye on the upcoming action at the King Fahd Stadium.

In this afternoon’s press conference, the Barca boss spoke about the possibility of Ansu Fati, who has been sidelined for a month through injury to mark his return against Granada.

However, Xavi went on to confirm that Ansu won’t actually be taking a risk this weekend, with the talented starlet returning for next week’s Clasico:

Meanwhile, another one to miss on Saturday is Ferran Torres.

Spain international Torres arrived at Camp Nou from Manchester City in January but has yet to play for his new employer due to a registration suspension followed by a bout of Covid-19.

Nor will Blaugrana loyalists see Torres in the club colours for the first time in Los Camenes, where the 21-year-old returned earlier today with his latest positive test result for Covid:
