Swedish Christopher Broberg On the second day of the Dutch Open on Thursday, he set a new course record at Bernards Golf Course, hitting 64, 7 under par, and took the lead.
The 35-year-old started off well, catching three birdies on the first nine holes without conceding the ball, and then caught three birdies in a row at the turn. He entered the weekend with a score of 12 under par.
“There were ups and downs. I hit some good and bad shots, but my putt was really hot,” Broberg said after the end of the round. “I’ve been fighting injuries all year. It’s nice to play well again, but this is golf… only one shot at a time.”
