Sorazzano in the West Indies was taken to the hospital

West Indies rookie Jeremy Solozano (Jeremy Solozano) was taken to the hospital after being hit by a helmet on the first day of his first test with Sri Lanka on Sunday.

When Sri Lankan batsman Dimuth Karunaratne tried to shoot a full-blooded ball from Roston Chase’s bowling ball, Solozano hit the ball with a short leg near the field and the ball slammed into the outfielder’s helmet grill. Before he was carried on a stretcher to the waiting ambulance to take him to the hospital, medical staff took care of him on the ground.

Sri Lanka scored 0 to 61 at lunch, Karunaratne hit 32 and Pathum Nissanka hit 25.
