Newcastle United offer Manchester United on loan to help avoid relegation

Newcastle seek more additions

After announcing the signing of Chris Wood on Thursday morning, Newcastle are looking to continue their move out of the relegation zone in January.

Their main target is a new centre-back, with Sevilla’s Diego Carlos appearing to be the most likely option at the moment.

But there are other areas that need improvement, one of which is midfield, where Joe Willock has struggled since his return to Tyneside and other options haven’t quite fit the bill.

And now, Newcastle have offered a simple solution to their problem.

Van de Beek makes offers for Newcastle and Dortmund

Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek remains keen to leave Old Trafford in January and has now been offered to Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund, according to the Manchester Evening News.

While he has struggled in England so far, this is largely due to a lack of opportunities at Old Trafford. If he can go on loan at Newcastle and Eddie Howe, it would seem like a no-brainer, as it wouldn’t hold them back too much and would add another quality option to the North East’s midfield.

It’s also a big move for Van de Beek, with the midfielder eager to regain the Netherlands squad he lost after joining the Red Devils. It will certainly give him the boost to succeed at St James’ Park and is yet another reason Newcastle should move on.
