Leicester City to join Norwich starlet race in January

Leicester City join Norwich starlet in transfer race

Leicester City’s mixed season

Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City have endured a mixed season so far, having been knocked out of the Europa League and currently 10th in the Premier League, having lost seven times so far this season.

While they’ve had some issues defensively, with Johnny Evans, Wesley Fofana and Caglar Soyuncu all having spells on the sidelines with various injuries, they’re also too reliant on James Madison came to provide the spark for their offense, and Jamie Vardy finished with his usual ruthlessness.

With 4-1 victories over former manager Claudio Ranieri and Watford, progress to the next round of the FA Cup, and relegation to the Europa League, the Foxes’ game will start to get better in a few months. Come on, they might need reinforcements.

Step forward, Todd Cantwell.

Norwich man targeted

And, in their quest for more creative options, Leicester City appear to have fallen on one man: out-of-favor Englishman Todd Cantwell, currently at Norwich.

According to The Sun, the Foxes are believed to have joined the 23-year-old midfielder, with Norwich ready to let him go for as little as £15m in January as they look to try beat down.

Cantwell is still young and has been underwhelming this season but impressed in the Canary Islands’ Premier League last season and has all the tools to perform at the highest level.

Will Leicester take action?
