Real Madrid star Karim Benzema sent a simple message to Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez on social media on Thursday.
Valverde is different
The latest version of El Clasico was, of course, played 24 hours ago.
The matchup comes in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup, and the aforementioned Real Madrid and Barcelona meet for the second time this season.
And to say that when all is said and done, the conflict didn’t live up to its billing would be an understatement.
A thrilling five-goal battle finally gave Ancelotti’s Blancos the victory, booking their place in the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid or Athletic Bilbao.
After all goals from Vinicius Jr., Luke de Jong, Karim Benzema and Ansu Fati, the crucial moment of the night finally went into injury time, Federico Valverde Swept the home field in an excellent counterattack:

However, the heavy fighting in Riyadh on Wednesday night was clearly not enough to cause a rift between a prominent member of each side of the Clasico divide.
Problematic individual? Karim Benzema and Harvey Hernandez.
As mentioned above, on his personal Instagram account tonight, Benzema continued his fantastic individual performance against Barca, contacting the Blaugrana boss.
In a simple one-word message, the Real Madrid main man posted a photo of him and Xavi chatting after the game, with the caption “Respect”:
