Previously, the existing 8 Indian Super League teams have announced the list of retained players before the big auction. It is worth noting that the franchise can keep up to 4 players but not more than 3 Indian players and 2 overseas players.
Meanwhile, the two new teams, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, with a budget of Rs 330 crore, can pick three players before the auction, but they can only pick up to two Indian players and one overseas player.
