The fast bowler also thanked Chennai Super Kings manager Radha Krishnan for his kind support.

“It’s an honor for legend and captain @msdhoni to gift me this beautiful shirt. ‘7’ still wins hearts with his gesture of kindness and kindness. Special thanks for your support @russcsk,” Rauf tweeted Special wrote.

In response to Rauf’s post, Russell retweeted it and wrote that Dhoni always kept his promises. “When our captain @msdhoni promised he would deliver, glad you liked it, champ #whistlepodu @ChennaiIPL,” the CSK manager wrote in his post.

Dhoni, meanwhile, made his last appearance during the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2021 as his side lifted the majestic trophy for the fourth time.

As for Rauf, he made his international debut in 2020 and has become a key part of the Pakistan team in limited cricket. So far, he has 41 and 14 wickets in 34 T20Is and 8 ODIs respectively.

At the UAE T20 World Cup in 2021, Raouf impressed everyone by scoring eight wickets in six games and leading Pakistan to the semi-finals with raw speed.
