Everton boss Rafael Benitez gave his latest press conference on Friday afternoon.

At the aforementioned press conference, the Spaniard was heavily inquired about a potential move in the January transfer window.

Asked directly about the possibility of further signings from his side this month, Benitez said:

“We are open to good players, if they can improve the team, they can play.”

Garner is a 20-year-old product of Manchester United’s youth team and is currently on loan at Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Garner spent the second half of last season at City Stadium and has been impressive again at this point in the season.

In turn, Everton are reportedly considering a bid for the Manchester United player.

Given that he is currently on loan, one would think that any Everton onslaught against Ghana would have to come on a permanent loan.
