Emery of Villarreal: Chukovice will be absent from the game against Mallorca

The 22-year-old Super Hawk will not participate because Yellow Submarine will visit the Iberostar Stadium for their fifth top flight

When Villarreal faces Mallorca in La Liga on Sunday, Nigeria international Samuel Chukveze will continue to be sidelined.

Yellow Submarine will visit the Iberostar Stadium in the fifth game of the season. According to manager Unai Emery, the 22-year-old Super Eagle will not participate in any games this season.

“We focus on how to line up for each game. On Sunday in Mallorca, we will focus on finding the best starting lineup, considering the game on Tuesday and not considering the next game,” Emery told the club Official website.

“We have two players, Samu Chukwueze and Dani Raba. The others are in good condition and eager to play. Looking at the team’s training, we are ready to face Mallorca in their stadium.”

Chukwiese has not participated in the game since he was injured in the UEFA Cup semi-final against Arsenal, which ended 0-0 at the Emirates Stadium on May 6.

This setback made him miss Villarreal’s victory over Manchester United in the Europa League final, and also missed the team’s loss to Chelsea in the Super Cup in August.

He has missed five games this season, including their first UEFA Champions League match against Atlanta in midweek.

At the same time, Emery believes that Villarreal will achieve positive results against the tough Mallorca team.

“We will find ourselves in a highly motivated game in Mallorca and they are back in the top league,” the former Arsenal coach continued.

“Some players have been here before, as well as the head coach. They are things that add emotion. They are a well-designed team with a clear offensive and defensive structure.

“They have smart players, young players and more experienced players.

“Every team must work hard to win. This is another challenge on Sunday and there is always room for improvement.

“We have players joining us and we need to find new synergies. We are moving forward and some players have already been established.

“This needs to become the inertia of other people and help them integrate into the dynamic. This is always a process that every team has.”
