The Decision Review System (DRS) will make its debut at the men’s T20 World Cup in Oman and the UAE starting this month.
ICC announced the introduction of DRS in the upcoming show in the competition conditions released earlier this week.
The men’s T20 World Cup will be held from October 17th to November 14th.
Each team can get up to two comments per game.
The governing body confirmed in June last year that in every round of all forms of competition, each team has conducted an additional unsuccessful DRS review, “Please remember that due to the COVID-19 connection, there may be experience at times Fewer referees on duty” reason.

Therefore, the number of unsuccessful appeals per team per game is increased to two in the white ball format and three in the test match.
DRS was not part of the early men’s T20 World Cup because the censorship system did not apply to the T20 when the last major event was held in 2016.
DRS made its first appearance in the ICC T20I Championship at the 2018 Caribbean Women’s T20 World Cup.
This system is again used in the 2020 Australia Women’s T20 World Cup.
