Arsenal star criticised after poor start against Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest v Arsenal

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal face a chance to travel to the City grounds to meet Nottingham Forest on Sunday night.

conflict is 3rd A round of the FA Cup, which is expected to prove a straight forward for the Gunners, especially with Arteta still fielding a fairly strong XI.

Nottingham Forest are currently 9th in the tournament, but lost the last two games.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are flying high in the Premier League, with most teams outside the “top six” relatively easy. Even so, the North Londoners put on a convincing performance against Manchester City last game, and if they come close to that level against Forest, a win seems likely.

Nuno Tavares goals

However, Arsenal are far from their best so far.

At the time of writing, the scoreline is at a 0-0 stalemate and Arsenal are struggling for any real chance.

One player in particular, though, had a poor first-half performance against Nottingham Forest.

That player was Nuno Tavares and Mikel Arteta seemed to have had enough as he hooked him after 34 minutes, although the left-back did not appear to be injured.

In addition to being mesmerized by Arteta, Tavares has also been heavily criticized online, with some of the reactions seen below:
